Wild Hearts African Farm & Petting Zoo is a unique farm where you learn about animals from all over the world on a guided tour. As of 2019, Wild Hearts African Farm is the first and only Humane Certified zoo in Ohio. During your tour, you'll be able to see animals up-close, as well as feed, touch, and watch animals at their training and feeding times. Your tour guide will ensure you have the best experience learning about amazing animals and conservation efforts to help them. Featuring livestock, native wildlife and small exotics, Wild Hearts invites you to experience a working farm and petting zoo like no other!
Wildlife Conservation and Education
Wild Hearts African Farm's mission is to make a positive impact on wildlife conservation both locally and globally through unique educational experiences while providing a fun and recreational resource for our community. Wild Hearts is located at 8079 Salem Rd. Lewisburg, Ohio 45338.
The farm is operated by Amanda Badger, a former state park naturalist, and her husband Brian Badger, who is a lifelong wildlife conservationist who has worked in Africa for the last 10 years. "We wanted to bring a distinct and real African experience to the area, one that teaches people of all ages about wildlife conservation methods and the importance of preserving these animals and their habitats," said Amanda.
