Unrivaled Wildlife Encounters

Sarara Camp is a gateway to a wildlife paradise. Situated within the vast Namunyak Conservancy, a haven for diverse wildlife, you'll witness nature's wonders up close. Sweeping savannah plains, lush vegetation, and rocky outcrops create a breathtaking backdrop for encounters with iconic African animals. Here, you'll find Kenya's second-largest elephant population, the endangered Reticulated giraffe, Grévy's zebra, leopard, wild dog, kudu, and more. The conservancy is also a haven for bird enthusiasts, boasting an astounding number of endemic, migratory, and predatory birds.

Immerse Yourself in Samburu Culture

Sarara Camp offers a unique opportunity to connect with the Samburu people, the indigenous custodians of this land. Experience their rich culture firsthand through visits to local villages, where you'll witness traditional dances, learn about their customs, and gain insights into their way of life. One of the most captivating experiences is witnessing the ancient Samburu ritual of the Singing Wells. Here, warriors sing and dig for water in a dry riverbed, a tradition that has remained unchanged for centuries. This exclusive experience is only available to guests of Sarara Camp.
