The Mission of Love One International

Love One International is a faith-based non-profit that provides life-saving medical care to children in remote areas of Uganda. No child should die from a condition that is easily treatable. In remote areas of Uganda, 911 doesn't exist. When these children are suffering from malnourishment, HIV/aids, malaria, etc., these parents are desperate for help. That is where Love One steps in and gets these children to the local hospital to get the care they need. Once these children are well enough to be released from the hospital, but not well enough to return home, they are transferred to the Love One Center until they are nourished back to health.

During this time, Love One teaches their parents or guardians how to properly care for these children and provide them proper hygiene. Once these children are well and their parents have all the resources they need, the children are sent back home. The goal is always to reunite these children with their loving families. Love One goes out in the community every month to ensure these children are doing well. A shot at life is not guaranteed for these children, but it should be. Providing Life-Saving Medical Care

Love One receives cases of malnourished children in critical condition; We coordinate access to emergency healthcare at the local hospital to meet their immediate medical needs. The first step in Love One's process of providing life-saving medical care to critically ill children is locating the children that need their help. New cases are usually reported to Love One staff on the ground in Uganda by government officials or community liaisons in the different villages nearby. Love One transforms the hearts of children and families in Uganda through life-saving medical care, family preservation and sharing the love of Jesus.

Rehabilitation and Resettlement

After rehabilitation, Love One ensures children return to stable homes. Our team evaluates family conditions, financial support, and more to ensure the child's well-being and family unity. Love One is a nonprofit organization that exists to transform the lives of children and families in Uganda through life-saving medical care. Once these children are well enough to be released from the hospital, but not well enough to return home, they are transferred to the Love One Center until they are nourished back to health. During this time, Love One teaches their parents or guardians how to properly care for these children and provide them proper hygiene.
