Packing Tips

Something like long linen trousers and cotton lightweight shirts, or a longer dress, are a good option for your time in Egypt. Although temperatures are high, Egyptians dress on the conservative side and you'll be expected to cover your knees and shoulders to show respect, especially for women visiting Egypt. Lighter colors are also recommended over darker colors on sunny days, and it's a good idea to bring a hat and sunscreen, as well as sunglasses.
