Launched in 1973‚ this is the oldest of two all-inclusive Club Med resorts in Mauritius‚ but a pre-pandemic refurbishment has … The main attraction for kids (and parents!) is the Petit Club Med. The team is sensational and they keep kids thoroughly entertained‚ fed and safe. Painting‚ pirate themed treasure hunts on the beach and swimming in the kids pool were Lolas favourite activities; Petit Club kids can remain with the G.Os until the early evening‚ which was a nice treat when Tom and I wanted to have dinner alone. Theres also a Baby Club Pyjama Club for babies up to 23 months‚ so you can enjoy the bar-come-disco‚ too. You might be tempted to join in the Crazy Sign dances with the G.Os. Club Med Mauritius has their own signature dance to learn as you go.

Here‚ nature surrounds you and invites you to enjoy the laid-back lifestyle of Mauritius. In a restaurant or by the beach‚ with a colourful boho decor ... We also took a day trip to Club Meds 5 trident resort‚ La Plantation dAlbion‚ just one hour away by boat. The main attraction is the circus trapeze and theres archery and a golfing range‚ too. We even saw flying fish during the boat ride over! You can enjoy an à la carte lunch at La Plantations sea view restaurant‚ indulge in the spa or join in a 5-a-side game on one of the many pitches. We opted for an afternoon at their luxurious infinity pool‚ where you can order drinks from your sun lounger.
