Admission Requirements
Candidates should possess NECO/WASSCE Certificate or the GCE Ordinary level or its equivalent, with Credit Passes in at least four subjects at not more than two sittings.
Preliminary (Pre-Degree) candidates (from Benue State University only) must have at least a C grade in English Language, Mathematics Physics or Chemistry and other relevant subjects.
Have your official high school, GED and/or college transcripts sent directly from the issuing institution to BSU Admissions. ACT or SAT scores are not required for admission.
You are required to have at least 5 credit passes in your Olevel result or its equivalent at no more than two sittings. You must register for JAMB, sit for the UTME and score at least 150 to be eligible for admission.
Cut-Off Mark
The Benue State University (BSUM), Makurdi Cut Off Mark for all the undergraduate aspirants who are seeking for provisional admission is set to be 150 for the 2024/2025 academic session. This means that any candidate who scores below 150 in the UTME will not be eligible for admission to Benue State University.
